〕 }} ''The Light at the End of the World'' is a 1995 US-only studio album by the band A Flock of Seagulls. It was produced by David Brodie. The album itself appears back to be a fusion of New Romanticism. Three singles were released from the album, "Magic", "Burnin' Up" and "Rainfall". The single "Rainfall" had a promotional video made. ==History== Left as the band's only original member, Mike Score would be working with many different musicians under the band's personnel. He and the members of his band mostly played live gigs, but then got back to recording after releasing the single "Magic" in 1989. They released this album in 1995. The album mainly seems to be a fusion of New wave and Pop rock, but also has roots of their New Romanticism era influences. Some of the songs, including "Burnin' Up," "Magic," and "Setting Sun," were already being performed live as far back as the late 1980s. The album produced three singles (one, "Rainfall", would have a promotional video made) which all had no chart success (although "Rainfall" would appear in many AFOS compilations). More than half the album made the live set during the tour from 1995 to 1997. Even today songs from the album are continually being incorporated into the band's live performances. The album's artwork was done by Klaus Heesch, who also did the artwork for the single "Burnin' Up".
